"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."
Helen Hunt Jackson, A Calendar of Sonnet's: February

I want to introduce myself

Hi, I am Anja, shortly 46 years old. I have two nice little boys, nearly 3 and nearly 8 years old. The greater boy is one of the reasons I want to improve my english skills, because the teacher speaks native english and I can't speak very well. I can understand much and read english sience and technical texts daily, but i speak three to four times a year.
My husband is often away for work in IT Projects and I now want to plan a little company fir y husband and develop a own software. For this work I need to improve my english too.
So, now I'm tired. The both children are asleeped now, and I had some hard nights bevore and a long day, so for europeans i wish a good night, for the people in the west USA a nice working day.

    You have a good incentive to learn a language that your son is studying @aimee_1972. You can practice with him and ask him to be your teacher!
