What Career Should You Have...

LynneLynne Your TeacherHomePosts: 8,828 mod
Mine was Writer.

You are a maker. Creative from the day you were born, you spend most of your time thinking about the world you live in. You are open to new ideas and value beauty and originality more than most. We both know you’re not really the office type, so give yourself some room to create. Other occupations: director, producer, advertiser.

    I got: Humanitarian
You are a giver, a justice seeker. You spend more time thinking about others than yourself, and more than anything just want what you’re doing to help someone in some way. Essentially, you is kind, you is smart, you is important. Other occupations: social worker, judge.

@april? Is your career to be a god?
  • aprilapril Moderator Posts: 9,843 mod
    No @mheredge :))
I'm always upset with this kind of game because I never have all the answers for all the questions, have you?

It might be that Buzzfeed is blocked for you @Nil. This is a nice quiz, but some of them are a bit naughty. It is the nature of the net.

@mheredge - Did it really say "Essentially, you is kind, you is smart, you is important." :-SS

Let me correct them: Essentially, you are kind, you are smart, you are important.

A friend got astronaut. I could see you as an astronaut too @Science24. Beaming up to Mars maybe?
  • ProseyProsey Posts: 1,223 ✭✭✭✭
I am a professor too but I don't think I am Einstein. Quite the opposite. =))

    You got: Professor
You are a thinker, in constant search of knowledge and answers to life’s most illusive questions. You love to analyze everything, testing out theories and pushing mental boundaries. Basically you’re an Einstein, but then again you probably already knew that.
  • science24science24 Posts: 976 ✭✭✭✭✭
Wow, another professor. well done :-bd

@mheredge, an astronaut is a tool for scientists to discover space, I wouldn't like to be a tool anyway. :D

No problem, @science24. Happily the score for the worst homework was dropped out so I did well in the end but you can have some laugh:

I got: Professor. I have to admitt I ticked on the very first box I liked and often didn`t see what was there down.

I reckon those quizzes do have something in common with the horoscops, don`t they?
You never will be sure what sort of Person has written it. It could have been from a child, housewife, dog (meant is not a broker), Professor, Student, and so on....

    You're right @Hermine.

Today there was a quiz (http://www.johncornyn.com/poll-concealed-carry-2/?t=garm) on Facebook to test your IQ. I guessed a few questions and was surprised at the score. Either all my friends are brilliant or the questions weren't so difficult.

Try it and see what score you can get.

@Why do they want me dates?
  • mheredgemheredge Wordsmith Here and therePosts: 24,539 mod
Dates @Hermine? What do you mean?
  • HermineHermine Moderator Posts: 5,907 mod
Oh sorry Marianne, with Dates do I mean my address, age, gender and so on. Obviousley there exist an other word for it.
  • HermineHermine Moderator Posts: 5,907 mod
Btw I like dates. Have always some at home and eat them when I have to strengthen my nerves.
  • mheredgemheredge Wordsmith Here and therePosts: 24,539 mod
How do dates relate to IQ @Hermine? Did you try the test?
  • ProseyProsey Posts: 1,223 ✭✭✭✭
@mheredge The problem is that when you click on the link in question a form asking for your first name, surname, etc. appears. It is not a test at all. That's what Hermine meant.
  • ProseyProsey Posts: 1,223 ✭✭✭✭
To sum up Hermine means 'personal information'. :(
