There is wind where the rose was,
Cold rain where sweet grass was,
And clouds like sheep
Stream o'er the steep
Grey skies where the lark was.

Nought warm where your hand was,
Nought gold where your hair was,
But phantom, forlorn,
Beneath the thorn,
Your ghost where your face was.

Cold wind where your voice was,
Tears, tears where my heart was,
And ever with me,
Child, ever with me,
Silence where hope was.

The Wimbledon Tennis Championship 2017

The 2017 Wimbledon Tennis Championship was full of emotion.
I saw Federer crying.
He was the 2017 Men’s Singles Champion and won with this his eighth Wimbledon’s title.
His four children entered the stadium when it was announced and Roger became emotional.

Federer, emotional when watching his kids

Cilic, Roger’s opponent couldn’t stop his tears; feeling desperate because he was injured and not able to play his best tennis.

    Ladies Singles

The 23-year-old Spanish Garbine Muguruza defeated the 37-year-old Venus Williams and became the second Spanish women’s champion here after Conchita Martinez, the winner in 1994.
The last ball of the match was decided after Muguruza’s challenge on Venus’s ball close to the baseline.
The ball was called in, but Hawkeye knew it better and it said “out”!
So the point went to Muguruza and it was Game, Set, Match, Muguruza!

After the challenge; Venus's bakk was out

    And another emotion.

The 36-year-old Martina Hingis won her first Wimbledon title 20 years ago.
This year she won the Mixed Doubles Championship with Jamie Murray.

I am proud of Lukas Kubot, who wins Wimbledon together Marcelo Melo in double.

I really enjoyed Wimbledon this year. I don't usually get much chance to watch it, but I was able to watch a little bit this time. It always inspires me to get out there and play some tennis myself!

    For me too, @GemmaRowlands .
There were a lot of good matches, the finals were not really thrillers but my favourites won so I was happy :) .

@mheredge , shortly it will be The US Open Championship. :)

@nomad81 , I didn't watch the final but I watched them before it.
    Yes, they were good too.

That's good. I wanted Andy Murray to win, because he's British (although most people say he's Scottish when he doesn't win!) but I was happy with the result out of the two that were in the final.

However we had an excuse for Andy, @GemmaRowlands .
    He was injured. :)
His brother won the Mixed Doubles, though.

This time it is more in the evening, I think @mheredge due to the New York time. :)

The last Grand Slam Tennis 2017 has Sloane Stephens and Rafael Nadal as winners.

    Sloane Stephens

    Rafael Nadal

I can't remember though that they had similar colour of outfits when they played their final matches. :D
