What is one to say about June? The time of perfect young summer, the fulfilment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade.

You can keep the snow. I'm quite happy with sun and warmth. #:-S

Thanks @April, but I didn't see any last night.

We actually had snow yesterday, but it turned to sleet, and ended up a bit miserable and cloudy, but maybe tonight will be clearer.

    Me neither @Lynne.
I wish I had the luck to see the one like in the NASA picture.

@april yes I am one of the fans of snow and winter.I really love it.
I prayed a lot for snow but I looked out side and I saw sun was shining bright.
I changed my idea about snow, sunny weather is much better.

I like snow too! But we don't get much here. It's best when it's snowy and sunny, with blue skies and red noses!

Snow on the mountains sounds good and around the city ... it must be magical I think.
I could love and enjoy that as long as I am on holiday. :)

It was still very cold and crisp this morning, even though I headed out a bit later than usual for some reason. ;)
  • Summertime in cape town, a very windy day.

It was a beautiful winter weather the whole day here.
Sunny, around 11°C, quite warm, an agreable temperature to go out.
At 5 o'clock it was sunset and it became cold.

It's been very warm today. I even turned off the heating though hubby has now turned it back on!

As a matter of fact @Amatsu, I also turn the heating one degree lower since Saturday.

Hubby fixed one of our radiators yesterday and this morning April's sun arrived. Now the house is a sauna.

    Naughty sun. :)
@Lynne, I thought that the repairman repaired your heating system last time?
  • LynneLynne Your Teacher HomePosts: 9,169 mod
He repaired the boiler, but our radiators are pretty ancient, and are always sticking.

Wow @April, 11 degrees - an Italian couple were flying to Kuwait today and told me it was only 11 degrees there. Normally it is much warmer there at this time of year.

I'm getting to like very much being in the tropics, especially in the winter.

Although of having too less snow the trees are frozen.

We always have to get rid of the air that is in the radiators, Lynne. After the procedure the radiators are much more powerful.

If you remind me when I get back I'll tell you how hubby fixed it. (I'm not going to write it here because once it is written anywhere on the net it's on there for life.)

Today the sun is not very happy I think.
It is a bit shy, not really bright, but every little sunray is welcome. ;)
  • mheredgemheredge Wordsmith Here and therePosts: 25,673 mod
@Hermine - you had to bleed your radiators.
