By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

Helen Hunt Jackson - September
The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk, and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze.

John Updike, September

What is the strangest dream you have ever had?

GemmaRowlandsGemmaRowlands ModeratorPosts: 5,327 mod
We all dream every single night - even if we don't remember those dreams when we wake up in the morning.

But what is the strangest dream you have ever had?

For me, it was a dream that I had years ago, and it has stayed strong in my mind ever since. I was sitting in the kitchen using a pea-shooter to shoot peas at my cousins. I have no idea why, and I don't know why, of all the dreams I've ever had, that one is the most memorable.

What is the strangest dream you have ever had? I am looking forward to hearing all about them!
