On this breezy October morn, I walk
in the swift shadows of cloud-cursing rooks,
watching the world wake on the horizon.
Leo Yankevich
All houses wherein men have lived and died
Are haunted houses. Through the open doors
The harmless phantoms on their errands glide,
With feet that make no sound upon the floors.

We meet them at the doorway, on the stair,
Along the passages they come and go,
Impalpable impressions on the air,
A sense of something moving to and fro.

'Ninety three year old hairdresser Kathleen Privett is hanging up her scissors after 72 years working in the same salon in Portsmouth, Hampshire, completing over 220,000 hair cuts.'

Has she been counting them? I never cease to amaze at these sort of statistics.

Can you imagine going to that hairdresser for the first time? Most of the hairdressers I visit are younger than me nowadays. :disappointed:

@april - How old is your hairdresser?

I'm at least twice as old as her, @Lynne .
Actually, I was always told not to touch the head of people who older than me! :D
