By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

Helen Hunt Jackson - September
The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk, and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Chrysanthemums.
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze.

John Updike, September

Which swimming stroke do you use?

When you go swimming, what is your favourite stroke?

The common ones are front crawl, breast stroke, butterfly stroke, back stroke and doggy paddle.

Do you know of any more?

Which one do you use the most?

I like swimming very much. I usually do breaststroke and crawl. I swim daily from spring to autumn. It is my most favourite sport.

That sounds great. Do you swim outside? That is not a possibility where I live, but I am jealous of other countries where you don't have to go to the pool to swim.
