"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

Improve Listening to catch information

Hi, everyone. It's a long time since I activated my account. Well, my Listening skill is my worse skill. I missed many job opportunities because of "deaf". I can read, write and speak a little English. However, I completely cannot listen and comprehend English. When listening to news, or something in English, I am not able to understand as well as re-write what I heard.
To escape from this situation, I practice to dictate English news. I want you to share your ideas or suitable sources for me to listen to English fluently. If my listening skill is better, I will follow other English studying courses. I practise to dictate and then I will practise to take-note. I have spent time on studying English for a long time. I'm embrassing when I cannot listen this language. Should I dictate English news? What kinds? Can you leave some useful links. Thank you for reading my message.
