"The April rain, the April rain,
Comes slanting down in fitful showers,
Then from the furrow shoots the grain,
And banks are fledged with nestling flowers;
And in grey shawl and woodland bowers
The cuckoo through the April rain
Calls once again."

Are you a good leader?

What does demand to be a good leader? Is it difficult? Is it a question of personal growth? Does anyone could be a leader? Can we learn to be a leader?

    I consider myself as a good leader! I have changed many things during my leadership journey, but at the end it's been good for me and for my team. I don't consider myself as a team player yet! But I can be...

    I think a lot of what it takes to be a good leader can be learnt. However some people seem to have born leadership skills too @alexenglish.

    I don't know if I'm good leader or bad but a lot of people in different situations ask me for leader. I started leader under ten age and my teacher ask me for leader .The situation like that the teacher ask a question who would like to be leader? I keep silent but almost students say my name a lot of time you don't ask leader but the leader came to you

    Yes...I agree with you @Khalied sometimes people recognize that we are leaders. But I have to admit....it takes a lot of time to become a leader!

    First - You have to want to be a leader
    Second - You have to learn to be a leader
    Third - You have to be a team player!

    @dope I think we can push ourselves to be a leader...Actually somethings happen and they are out of our control...other times we are in a position where it demands control of teams and people...In my case it happened like that. I became a manager out of the blue and when I noticed I had 14 people to manage....I was really crazy about that, because I didn't know about team management...I have to admit to myself that I've changed a lot since then. It's good to see the changes. I thought to quit many times...but I didn't!!!

    No. I'm very much a team player. I like to help wherever I can but don't like being in the spotlight!

    At work place, an appraisement as good leader or not will be determined by people around us or our subordinates. The things that we should do is learning and learning to be better day by day. Learning from mistakes and respect to people around us without seeing the its level or position of the person.

    I think I 'am because my priority is my team not myself. I work not only for myself but for them also, if one member of team is lost, is your lost also as a leader.
