"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."
Helen Hunt Jackson, A Calendar of Sonnet's: February

How to play:-
  • Look at the previous word: In this game, a 6 -letter word.
  • Swap the letters around and / or change a letter to make a new word from the previous word in the game.
  • Words should only be used once per game.
  • Please note - If you want to add more than one word, write them in one post, but be sensible. This is meant to be a game for everyone.
Oh, and make sure you are on the right page!
