"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

    @torellip , as English learners we have some difficulties to reproduce the correct accent, but the most important is to be understood.
    A friend from Voxopop (Kirsti) always said that I mumble when I talk in English. :D
    Your NRU#190 is great.

    Thanks @Rupsil. I agree with you. I'm not looking for a British accent, but I'd like to have a good pronunciation. Some sounds are very difficult for me (th, r and all those consonants all together..).
    Great job @Scott. I really appreciate it. I'm looking forward to hearing your recording of NRU191.

    DJ @aladdin, here we go with 4 fantastic newsreaders to broadcast this week on English radio.

    They are @Bubbly, @torellip, @rupsil, @kindgnice and @Scott which means Pakistani, Italian, Brazilian, Filipino and Korean voices presenting News Round Up #190. <3

    Guys, you can't imagine how much more interesting it is to have a variety of voices and accents reading the news. I can tell you because I switch English Radio on every day and News Round Up is broadcast 6 times a day for a full week. It would be boring listening to Amatsu only despite her "perfect" British accent. (No offense Amatsu.)

    A special thank you to @Bubbly and @Scott who have just joined the team of newsreaders.

    You're doing great guys. Thank you for the hard work you put in this as I know that it's not as easy as it might sound like. ^-^

    @Aladdin, don't forget the random switch for the broadcast. ;)

    @Zom are you sure the "random" is really random?
    What about to rotate a sequence every day? If you have 6 different tracks, you could rotate them every day. For example:
    Monday 123456
    Tuesday 234561
    Wednesday 345612
    etc..

    You'll have to ask Aladdin @rupsil. He is the guy behind the console and knows better than I how easy or impossible your request is. That said I was told that the Radionomy planer is a nightmare to use.

    Thank @torellip. I want to make a habit of recording like you. :) And your pronunciation is quite clear to me and easily understandable. :smiley:
    @Zom I will be honored to be one of the newsreaders. I'll keep turning in the broadcast. ;)

    Is the Radionomy site another platform for listening the songs from EnglishRadio site @Zom?

    @Scott your pronunciation is very good. I'm grad to be part of "regular newsreader" along with you all. It's a great opportunity. I hope to see you regularly on Skype group as well.
