By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

Helen Hunt Jackson - September
The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk, and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Chrysanthemums.
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze.

John Updike, September

According with 2002 reports of consumer spending in five different countries, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey, Ireland spent the least money over education or leisure and they spent a lot of money over food and drinks. But Ireland is not that country which spent most money after food among those five countries. Turkey had reached 32 percent in spending of food and it was four percentage higher than Ireland. Except Italy all those country spent around six percent over clothing or footwear. Italian consumer spending on food shows low and clothing shows higher, over 9 percent. Whereas, Swedish consumer spending on food and clothing rates stood low and on education reached very high. But, highest rate of education consumer in those countries was Turkey. Their education spending percentage is 4.35 and it was the highest percentage on education spending in compared of those country. Spanish education spending is the lowest one. Their education spending rate is only 1.98 percent and their food consumer rate is either not high.

Well done @Derioc. Interesting that Turkey is seen to spend more on education than Sweden. This was 14 years ago, so I wonder if this has changed.

Actually, Spain have suffered important education cuts. That is sad.
