"The April rain, the April rain,
Comes slanting down in fitful showers,
Then from the furrow shoots the grain,
And banks are fledged with nestling flowers;
And in grey shawl and woodland bowers
The cuckoo through the April rain
Calls once again."

@science24

I think this site is worth noting: https://ancienthebrewgrammar.wordpress.com/2011/03/26/journal-submissions-part1/

I mean what can be learnt from stories about rejected essays. :)

    Thanks for the link @Xanthippe , very interesting :)
    I am not sure how the reviewers dare to say ( “Yuck!” ) in their comments, myself, I will never submit a manuscript for this rubbish journal , and I will write a report for the scientific community about this comment

    @Science24, fortunately, it has never happened to me. :)

    I think the reviewer should be open-minded and should have expounded the things where the writer should improve and/or beef up. In that sense, feedback can be considered valuable at some point.

    @kindgnice, such reviewers are a bliss. :)

    I came across this articl this morning and I think it is worth reading @Xanthippe . it is about predatory journals that recruit fake editors with an empty CV. Shame on the scientific community. The study was done by polish scientists ;)

    Oh, yes, my friend sent me an article in Polish. :) Ha ha ha. I am wondering how people can believe in falsifications like that.
