"The April rain, the April rain,
Comes slanting down in fitful showers,
Then from the furrow shoots the grain,
And banks are fledged with nestling flowers;
And in grey shawl and woodland bowers
The cuckoo through the April rain
Calls once again."

    Why is working so restrictive? What is a purpose of it? I guess everyone came here for similar reasons and before we get into them we kind of need to follow some unexplainable rules? I don´t want to be rude but it sounds weird to me.

    @JoeFusile Hi and welcome to the forum.

    It is all about rules and regulations and we need to follow them.

    Could you please elaborate unexplainable rules a bit more?

  • [Ex Member][Ex Member] Posts: 0 ✭✭
    Hi all, this is my first time on this forum. I would like to join conversation on Skype. Apparently, I need to earn some points to activate. Who detemermines how many points I get. And where can I find the regulations?
  • BubblyBubbly Nightingale Posts: 30,268 ✭✭✭✭✭✭
    @nmm you got two stars. Please send your Skype ID to @Lynne through a private message so that she can add you to the Skype group.

    @mailforhan Hi and welcome.

    You need to explore the forum a little bit and take part in discussions in order to get active until you get your second star.
  • @ Glorian Hi! It is never 'too much mistakes'...always 'too many mistakes'. It's okay...you learn by making mistakes.
    Just to clarify 'much' is used for uncountable nouns whereas 'many' is used for countable nouns. 'Mistakes' can be counted. Thus, it will be 'many mistakes' but 'much happiness' as happiness cannot be counted.
    I hope i haven't confused you...
