"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

It has 29 states and 7 union territories. It is surrounded by water on three sides. India is the 2nd largest populated country in the world.

    Where do you start @rajatpareekcool? India is so diverse. Do you come from Delhi? I understood that Delhi is a bit of a melting pot of many Indian cultures as people living there come from all over the country.
