There is wind where the rose was,
Cold rain where sweet grass was,
And clouds like sheep
Stream o'er the steep
Grey skies where the lark was.

Nought warm where your hand was,
Nought gold where your hair was,
But phantom, forlorn,
Beneath the thorn,
Your ghost where your face was.

Cold wind where your voice was,
Tears, tears where my heart was,
And ever with me,
Child, ever with me,
Silence where hope was.

i got no idea about this. Anyone, please help me if you know any duet songs that can be fit for wedding party. My friend is gonna get married next month.. not old song anyway,.. i've been searching for such songs but i only found any heartbreak songs like "What you gonna do" by Hunter Hayes and Ashley Monroe.

Sorry @Prisca_Selv, I only just saw this. Is this for dancing after the wedding, or for the ceremony itself?

I know you say you want modern songs, but you can't have a wedding without "I've had the time of my life" with Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, and then there is You're The One That I Want, with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

You can't forget Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville with Don't Know Much. I guess I'm just old-fashioned. :)

There is Opposites Attract with Paula Abdul andThe Wild Pair. Hmm - it's okay, as is Empire State of Mind with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

I think that the best thing to do would be to do an internet search for a list of duets, and then take a look at the lyrics and see which fit your relationship the best. Nobody else can tell you which song would be best for you; this is something that you have to decide on your own. There are many traditional wedding songs, but being personal is more important at a wedding, really.

Foreigner: I want to know what love is, Until the end of time
Celine Dion: Beauty and the beast, Because you loved me
Rock 'n roll songs, Bee Gees, Boney M or Abba songs
Sometimes there're good parties all night after wedding ceremony. Am I right?

Sorry, @Prisca_Selv! I cannot suggest modern songs, because I better like the old ones.

i recommend 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz...because it's quite a meaningful song to your better half..
but not only for wedding, it also suitable for purpose to a girl, or honeymoon
