There is a lot to discuss about tennis, but at this moment I just want to talk about the French Open Tennis championship 2015.

After ten days of match we know that there won't be Sharapova nor Federer in the final this year.

Nadal and Ferrer are defeated in the quarter final, so no Spaniard in the final either.

For Man Single, Djokovic need the title to complete his grand slam, but his opponents are also good, it is hard to predict who will be the last winner.
And for the women single, Serena Williams seems unstoppable, If she kept playing like that, she might won her 20th grand slams this year.

    Secretly, I hope Tsonga could win, @chyijung . :)

Federer is old now (although still my favourite) but it looks like he has short of that stamina.

I like Djokovic over Nadal. I hope he will win the title.

But we can't underestimate Murray as well.
He looks like someone on forum :p

I hope somebody else will win La Coupe Suzanne Lenglen, @chyijung , not Serena. :(

I like Maria Sharapova. She looks like a model more than a tennis star.

    She is already out@bubbli
I agree @april, it's like she has been winning since ever.

I felt bad for the guy from Pakistan, Aisam. He only made it till quarters in mixed doubles.
  • BubblyBubbly Nightingale Posts: 29,862 ✭✭✭✭✭✭
@meu Aisam is a good player. Besides having a minimal interest in tennis, I still watched his match because he was representing Pakistan.

The final for The Ladies Single will be a battle between Lucie Safarova and Serena Williams. :(
Come on Lucie, you're my last hope, right @meu?

@april It sounds like the line from the Star Wars: Help me Obiwan Kenobi, you're my only hope.
Don't worry, Lucie Safarova will come to the rescue.

@chyijung Star wars and tennis, what a combination!. ;)

I don't know which match I prefer to watch today: Men's singles semi final or Ladies double Semi Final.
    What do you think, @chyijung ? :)

Tsonga versus Wawrinka is underway, are you watching it now? @april
  • aprilapril Moderator Posts: 9,830 mod
Thank you for mentioning it, @chyijung, I was watching the Ladies :) .

    Oh God, not again!
I don't want Williams to win
It's like enough. She must not have enough room for placing her new trophy.

Let's hope that Safarova will play the match of her life tomorrow, @meu .
  • exmemberexmember Posts: 2,332 ✭✭✭✭✭
Yeah I am supporting her! But still Serena Williams is a very tough competitor.

It was hot today in Paris.

@meu what about Sania Mirza. Is she in the game?
  • exmemberexmember Posts: 2,332 ✭✭✭✭✭
She got out of the tournament in quarters in women doubles. @bubbli
  • BubblyBubbly Nightingale Posts: 29,862 ✭✭✭✭✭✭
@meu she really needs to retire from this game. I have seen few glimpses of her match. I don't think she would be able to win any big title.
  • exmemberexmember Posts: 2,332 ✭✭✭✭✭
Infact, her ranking is getting better day by day! @bubbli
  • chyijungchyijung Posts: 1,872 ✭✭✭✭
It is a tough game for L.Safarova.
  • aprilapril Moderator Posts: 9,830 mod
    She is indeed unstopable!
Serena Williams defeated Lucie Safarova and wins the trophy.
    Congratulations!
