@BradelyWinlock Hi. How do you learn English?
  • LienLien Posts: 266 ✭✭✭
@sanaa If you want to learn English fast, you must hard-work. You must spend time on absorbing English everyday. You have to memorise many things: vocabulary, structure, grammar. Learn by heart and learn by heart, repetition, and teach others and practise English everyday through English videos, writing English, reading English, do English excercises (actually doing English exercises is not easy because it feel bored) and other ways. Well, learning English is depend on self-study. Everyone can consult you on learning English, correct your English mistakes, and so on. But learning by heart, repetition are mainly depending on yourself. No one on the forum can stuff English words into your brain. Good at English is not magical, it is a enduring struggle. If your English ability is lower, you have to learn by heart vocabulary, write or speak many sentences with new structures. You use Google, Bing to find English documents/e-books to learn. Hard-working, Motivation, Determination. Try Hard. B)

@dyep24 : @peaceculture2 has a good approach of learning English. By taking part in other discussions, you'll learn different cultures as what you mentioned in your introduction and eventually we will be meeting you in Skype sessions. Enjoy! ;) We'll help each other here.

@dyep24 Hi. We can only facilitate you. You need to take initiative to improve your English and for that I would say: 'Just do it'.

I read this one book. The author advice is that we need to swallow the dictionary >.< this is just to improve and widen our vocab. He doesn't mean swallow like you swallow your food but to read and understand it from cover to cover. I haven't try it yet but this is something good to try isn't it? :D for the dictionary better we go for English-English dictionary instead of English-Your language dictionary hehe
