"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

    I have already commented but let me say it again.
    @Igor Lovera I need a square form of a pizza. Can you design it for me? :)

    No problem, I have some experience in the field.
    When I am drunk I make the square pizzas.

    I've had a square pizza. Tastes the same. It's only tradition that says they have to be round. Isn't that right @Igor Lovera?

    It's right @mheredge ,making the round pizza It is easier and faster.
    But if you use a baking dish/Pan you can make pizza of any shape, like a cake.

    :hushed: I didn't see any square pizza yet. How could I miss that.

    I apologize to you but the printer is broken, unfortunately.

    What is the most exotic pizza topping you have on your menu @Igor Lovera ?
  • BubblyBubbly Nightingale Posts: 29,834 ✭✭✭✭✭✭
    Marianne don't only ask about topping. :)

    In our menu there are about 50 different pizzas, but they do not contain exotic foods.
    However, I always leave the customer the ability to add any food on his pizza.
    So, one evening, I made a pizza with pineapple, kiwi, and gorgonzola cheese.
    Perhaps it is the most exotic pizza I ever made.
  • mheredgemheredge Wordsmith Here and therePosts: 24,139 mod
    Kiwi and gorgonzola sounds like a fairly exotic combination. Myself, I prefer anchovies and olives, but spinach and mushrooms too. So I'm quite conventional in my tastes @Igor Lovera.

    It was an April Fool @april. But, hubby said someone had probably already done it, and he was right!

    And @bubbli - it's square!

    @Lynne I can't see the image/video as usual-Error :)

    I have this problem @bubbli that I can't see pictures or movies here. Anyway you can make a square pizza yourself. @Igor_Lovera you can help us about making it.

    I bet they won't be able to make 3D printed beers, right @Lynne ? :)

    On my tablet, I can't usually see graphics or videas posted here either @nel and @bubbli. I see them when I use my laptop. I'm curious to see if I'll be able to access the Forum when I'm in China. The Internet is usually very slow there. I'll have to check out whether the VPN application I was using when I was there a couple of years ago is still working.

    In a local restaurant I go to a lot, their pizzas are almost rectangular, with rounded corners.

    @mheredge I don't know when would this youtube issue be resolved in Muslim world. There must be some solutions than banning the websites. Its application was working on my mobile but now I can't even see videos on my mobile that are usually posted here. So most of the time, I request others to at least mention some briefs with the video so that I could search them on dailymotion or other channels.

    I think it's a big problem for our countries now @bubbli . We can't close the doors and don't speak with people who live outside our home. Today we are able to access information easily and always there are many ways that we can pass filters @mheredge .

    Last night I saw an interesting youtube documentary about the latest craze for smuggling pendrives, CDs and laptops into North Korea. They reckon over half the population there have seen films from outside even though the people there have no access at all to the internet. China censors a lot of sites too. I'm sure that youtube is blocked. The Forum has had some Chinese members in the past, but they could never see the links.

    I won't be taking any electronic items in with me when I go to North Korea, just to play safe.

    I like Domenico Crolla's pizza art - It's a waist to eat it.

    Here you can watch more examples and read an interview with Comenico Crolla.

    Are you famous with this art @Igor_Lovera and @filauzio?
  • Igor_LoveraIgor_Lovera Posts: 310 ✭✭✭
    I didn't ever see this kind of art, I think the artist removes the chees when the pizza is chill. The pizzas are nice.

    @Frank lovely art.whom you want to eat in pizza form? :)
  • mheredgemheredge Wordsmith Here and therePosts: 24,139 mod
    Was a pun intended @Frank? (It's a waist/waste to eat it.) Pizzas are very bad for the waistline!

    The pun was not intended @mheredge. I meant waste - thanks!
  • mheredgemheredge Wordsmith Here and therePosts: 24,139 mod
    My waist being full of pizza doesn't quite mean the same as being wasteful of pizza, but the picture in my mind is giving me a chuckle @Frank.
